- Rental Agreement:
By utilizing our services, your company “the Customer” acknowledges and accepts the terms and conditions delineated herein. This agreement formalizes a rental relationship between your company (the “Customer”) and Calgary Mat & Linen, where our core offering revolves around the rental of premium-quality mats for your business. Our supplementary service entails the agreed upon periodic replacement of rented mats with freshly laundered ones, which, on occasion, may experience delays owing to statutory holidays, adverse weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances. We place great emphasis on our commitment to dependability, and in the event of any delays, we are unwavering in our commitment to promptly facilitating mat exchanges.
- Mat Rental Period:
Unless otherwise agreed to, the rental period begins on the date of initial mat delivery and continues until either party provides written notice of cancellation.
- Cancellation Policy:
Customers may cancel their mat rental service by providing a written cancellation notice at least 60 days in advance. Cancellation requests must be submitted via email or certified mail to our customer service department. Any cancellation received with less than 60 days’ notice will be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to one month’s rental charges.
- Price Increase Policy:
Calgary Mat & Linen reserves the right to adjust prices once a year without notice. We understand that price changes can be concerning, and we strive to keep any adjustments reasonable and competitive within the industry.
- Payment Terms:
Customers are required to make payments for mat rental services in accordance with the agreed-upon billing cycle. Invoices are typically issued on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis, and payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date. Late payments may be subject to late fees.
- Mat Care and Maintenance:
Customers are responsible for the proper care and maintenance of rented floor mats. This includes preventing damage beyond normal wear and tear. Any mats returned in a damaged or excessively soiled condition may be subject to additional charges, including the replacement cost of the damaged mat(s). Replacement cost charges will be applied to any mats that are lost, stolen, or not returned within a reasonable time period.
While Calgary Mat & Linen takes all necessary precautions to provide safe and effective floor mats, we cannot be held liable for any accidents or injuries that occur as a result of the use of our mats. Customers are responsible for ensuring the safety of their premises, including the placement of our mats, and the use of our mats.
We hold no liability for damage to linen resulting from customer misuse, negligence, or our cleaning process.
- Environmental Fee:
Our environmental fee allows us to adhere to Environment Canada guidelines, including the proper disposal of hazardous waste materials, the implementation of eco-friendly cleaning methods, and the reduction of our overall environmental impact. By contributing to this fee, our valued customers are directly supporting our commitment to meet and exceed these regulations, ensuring that our operations have minimal adverse effects on the environment. We take our environmental responsibilities seriously, and this fee is an essential step in preserving our natural resources and maintaining full compliance with Environment Canada’s guidelines. Your partnership in this endeavor is invaluable in safeguarding our environment for the well-being of all Canadians.
- Termination of Service:
Calgary Mat & Linen retains the sole discretion to terminate mat rental services for any customer found to be in violation of these terms and conditions, including instances of customer misuse, negligence, or abusive behavior towards our staff, without any entitlement to a refund for prepaid services.
